Calm study, locally kept

Flashcards with a little more quiet.

Meadow Study is a gentle flashcard app for focused review. Import your decks, study with FSRS scheduling, and keep everything on your device.

Import what you already have

Bring in Anki .apkg files, JSON decks, or Meadow deck packs and keep studying without rebuilding everything.

Review without noise

Basic cards, cloze deletion, and multiple choice share a quiet flow with FSRS scheduling underneath.

Private by default

No accounts, no ads, no tracking. Your decks, settings, and study history stay on your device.

Study mode

Serious review, without making the room louder.

Basic, cloze, and multiple-choice cards share the same calm rhythm: read, reveal, rate, continue. The app stays out of the way while FSRS schedules the next pass.

Build decks with Claude

Turn a topic — or a whole lecture — into a deck.

If you already study with Claude, drop in the Meadow deck-builder skill and ask for cards on anything. Claude produces a .meadow file you open in the app: clinical-vignette MCQs, cloze, and basic cards, tagged and ready to review.

Try:“make me a meadow deck on the urea cycle”

In Claude apps or Claude.ai

  1. Create a Project (or open an existing one).
  2. Open SKILL.md and paste its contents into the Project's custom instructions.
  3. Ask: “make me a meadow deck on [topic]” — download the artifact, open it on your phone, and import.

In Claude Code

  1. Download the .skill file above (it's a zip).
  2. Unzip and move the meadow-deck-builder folder into ~/.claude/skills/ (or %USERPROFILE%\.claude\skills\ on Windows).
  3. Restart Claude Code and ask for a deck. The skill activates on phrases like “make me flashcards on…”.
