Help for quiet review.

A short guide to importing decks, studying cards, and understanding where your Meadow Study data lives.

Getting started

  1. Open the app. Your decks appear on the home screen under the Library section.
  2. Tap Import to load an Anki, JSON, or Meadow deck file.
  3. To create a deck by hand instead of importing, open a folder and tap New deck inside it.
  4. From the home screen, tap a deck to start a study session.

Importing decks

Meadow Study supports:

  • .apkg files from Anki
  • .json files in the Meadow format
  • .meadow deck packs

If an Anki file uses media such as images or audio, media is skipped in this version. The card text is imported.

Study modes

Cards can be basic front/back cards, cloze deletion cards, or multiple-choice cards. Meadow Study uses the FSRS scheduling algorithm to decide when each card should appear again.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?
On your device only. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I sync between devices?
Sync and backup are not available yet.

What happens if I uninstall the app?
Decks are stored locally, so uninstalling the app will delete them. There is no cloud backup.
